3. Personalized recommendations    

In order to show and recommend you information about products or services that may interest you, we will collect and use your browsing, searching, adding to purchases, and transaction records when you visit or use the Taobao platform website or client, and combine them with device information, service log information, and other information authorized by you collected in accordance with the law to predict your preference characteristics through algorithm models. 1. Shopping cart      

When you use the shopping cart function, we will collect your information on adding items to your shopping cart and use your order information to optimize your shopping experience (such as providing price reduction/discount reminders, filtering frequently purchased items, recommending specific shopping cart sharing links, etc.).    

2. Order placement and order management     

When you order specific goods and/or services from our products and/or services, we will generate an order for you to purchase the goods and/or services through the system. (IV) Providing you with information publishing functions

When you evaluate the goods and/or services you traded, we will collect and publicly display your evaluation and shared content (including text, pictures, videos, etc. you posted), avatar, and nickname on the pages inside and outside the store . You can ask questions to users who have purchased the app. At the same time, when you are a purchased user, you may receive invitations randomly pushed by the system to answer questions asked by other users. When you choose to ask questions and answer them, your question and answer content, avatar, and nickname will be displayed publicly.    

2. Personal homepage    

Your personal homepage displays your avatar, nickname, published content and related interactive information (fans, following, comments/likes, evaluations, questions and answers, favorites), etc. Other users can view your personal homepage by searching for your Taobao nickname or browsing account (you can turn off this method through "My Taobao" - "Settings"). We will not use the aforementioned information for face recognition or other purposes, nor will we transmit it back, store it on the server, or share it with third parties.    

3. Share and interact      

When you share or receive shared information, participate in activities, etc., we will read your clipboard content to determine whether there are relevant passwords, sharing codes, links, etc., in order to realize functions or services such as jump , share, and activity linkage. However, we will only upload the clipboard content to our server when we locally identify that it belongs to Taobao jump, share, activity linkage and other instructions. We will not collect or store other information on your clipboard, and the clipboard information alone cannot identify your personal identity. At the same time, we may need to read your mobile phone album to facilitate you to share or receive shared pictures or videos.    

4. Interaction in the live broadcast room      

When you watch a live broadcast, your nickname, avatar, and interactive information in the live broadcast room (such as comments, likes, rewards, gifts, fan level, etc. ) will be publicly displayed in the live broadcast room. C. Channel (Mini Program) Service       

When you use channel (mini program) services, we will collect and use your channel login, browsing, use, subscription/addition/cancellation and other operation records according to your operation to provide you with more convenient, high-quality and personalized channel services and content. (III) Delete    

You can delete part of your information through the paths listed in "(I) Review, Correction and Supplementation", or apply to cancel your account to delete all your information.    

In the following circumstances, you can contact us to request deletion of personal information:    

1. If our handling of personal information violates laws and regulations;    

2. If we collect and use your personal information without your explicit consent;    

3. If our handling of personal information seriously violates the agreement with you;    

4. If our processing purposes have been achieved, cannot be achieved or are no longer necessary to achieve the processing purposes;    

5. If we stop providing products or services, or the shelf life has expired.    

If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also notify the entities that obtained your personal information from us as much as possible and require them to delete it in a timely manner (unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations, or these entities have independently obtained your authorization).    

After you or we assist you in deleting the relevant information, we may not be able to immediately delete the corresponding information from the backup system due to applicable laws and security technology limitations. After you actively cancel your account, we will stop providing you with products or services and delete or anonymize your personal information in accordance with applicable laws.    

6. Constraining information system automatic decision-making    

In certain business functions, we may make decisions based solely on non-human automated decision-making mechanisms, including algorithms. If these decisions affect your legal rights, you can contact us through customer service.    

(VII) Responding to your above requests    

If you or your potential guardian, next of kin or other authorized person makes the above request to us, as well as your relevant personal information rights stipulated by the laws of the People's Republic of China and other applicable laws, you can contact us through customer service or directly file a complaint with our personal information protection department. We will respond within 15 days.    

To protect the security of your account and your personal information, when you make the above request to us, we may first verify your identity (such as adding account verification, requiring you to provide a written request or other reasonable methods) before processing your request.    

In principle, we do not charge fees for your reasonable requests, but we will charge a certain fee for repeated requests that exceed reasonable limits. We may reject requests that are not directly related to your identity, are repeatedly requested without reasonable grounds, require too many technical means (such as developing new systems or fundamentally changing current practices), pose risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or are impractical.    

5. Storage of Information    

(I) Storage period    

We will only retain your personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this policy, unless there are mandatory retention requirements by law. For example, the Electronic Commerce Law of the People's Republic of China requires that product and service information and transaction information be retained for no less than three years from the date of completion of the transaction.    

We determine the storage period of personal information mainly based on the following criteria:
